Designated Entities
Entities designated by the Minister under the Significant Investments Review Act.

The Minister for Trade and Industry may designate entities in the interest of Singapore's national security. This is pursuant to section 17 of the Significant Investments Review Act (SIRA). The list of designated entities is published in the Government Gazette (opens in new tab).
The Prime Minister of Singapore, may direct, for specific designated entities, all of the functions and powers of the Minister for Trade and Industry be transferred to a relevant Minister. This is pursuant to section 6(2) of SIRA, where powers under Part 3 (other than section 17 and Division 6) and section 38 of SIRA would be transferred. You may refer to the FAQs for more details on the transfer of functions and powers.
The Office of Significant Investments Review will remain as a dedicated one-stop touchpoint for stakeholders.
